Australia’s leading urban communities developer Delfin Lend Lease has congratulated the Federal Government for its boost to the first home owners grant.
The first home owners grant will be increased from $7,000 to $21,000 for first home buyers who purchase a newly constructed home.
Delfin Lend Lease CEO David Keir heralded the boost as a significant win for young Australians trying to enter the property market.
“Today marks a watershed moment for young people wanting to achieve the great Aussie dream of owning their own home,” Mr Keir said.
“This stimulus package will assist first home buyers who may be struggling to put together a deposit, and will provide them with the level of confidence they need.
“Over the past few years, Delfin Lend Lease has been developing more affordable housing products, to make it easier for ordinary people to buy a new home. These housing products, coupled with the increased first home buyer grant, will offer young people a better opportunity to enter today’s property market.”
Delfin Lend Lease is Australia’s leading developer of masterplanned communities with 25 projects in Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, and the Northern Territory.
