Nelsons Ridge has cemented its reputation as one of Sydney’s top communities after receiving two honours at the Housing Industry Association’s New South Wales Housing Awards on Saturday night.
Nelsons Ridge won the Best Residential Lifestyles Development Award, while the community’s AXIS precinct won the Best Villa/Townhouse Development (over 10 dwellings) Award.
The two wins follow the recent UDIA New South Wales Awards where Nelsons Ridge was a finalist in the Masterplanned Residential Lifestyle Development category.
Nelsons Ridge Project Director Paul Melrose said the community had been designed to take into account its unique position on the highest point between the Sydney CBD and the Blue Mountains.
“One of the last large-scale ‘Greenfield sites’ in the region, Nelsons Ridge incorporates best-practice into its urban design along with a range of architecturally-designed homes catering to today’s homebuyers,” he said.

Mr Melrose said the AXIS precinct was the result of collaboration between Delfin Lend Lease design team and partner builders to deliver high quality homes and finishes without a hefty price tag.

Nelsons Ridge is being developed by Delfin Lend Lease, Australia’s largest developer of urban communities with 25 projects across the country.
